About the Event
What is W.I.L.D.? Women Inspiring Learning Doing!
Limited to 8 participants, this 6 day wilderness retreat is for women to experience educational and inspiring activities related to camping and hiking in a mountain setting. Whether you are new to the outdoors or looking to expand your knowledge, the W.I.L.D. Retreat is for you.
Arriving on Thursday, after 3pm, settle in your high mountain wall tent accommodations, explore the barn, stables and surrounding hills, before enjoying a BBQ dinner with all the trimmings. Meet your instructors and soon to be adventure partners before turning in for the night.
Friday and Saturday will be filled with outdoor activities that will include horse riding, fishing, first-aid/outdoor survival skills, hiking skills and hands-on camp cooking. We will end the experience on Sunday with an all day horseback ride to a high-mountain creek-side campsite for lunch and a fun-filled friendly competition utilizing your learned skills.
