Ladies Basic Firearms Class 2024

Join us for a Ladies Only Firearm Safety Clinic!

We are excited to have Dan Strausbaugh from Carbon Limb Training back and offering a basic Firearms Safety Class to the ladies of the Gunnison Valley Women's Network. This exclusive, discounted women's course includes training and education in the following areas:

Classroom

• Basic firearms handling
• Safety skills

Handgun Live Fire Training

• Equipment considerations and selection
• Handgun shooting skills
• Live fire on the range

*Eligible for CCW Permit

Successful completion of this class will allow you to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit (CCW). See CO state laws.

How to Register

Cost is $95/pp. Space is limited to 15 participants. Registration and payment will be required to be made in advance to hold your spot.

What to Bring

• Participants will need to bring their own handgun/pistol (see below for rental info)
• 50 rounds (minimum) of ammunition
• Eye and hearing protection
• Extra magazine
• Pen/pencil &. notebook
• Wear closed toed shoes & long pants
• Thick belt
• Sack lunch
• Water/beverage

Firearms Rental

If you do not have your own firearm/handgun and would like to rent one, please coordinate rental via email (carbonlimbtraining@gmail.com) prior to registration as supplies are limited!

• Rental fee: $30 - includes one box of 50 rounds of ammunition. Additional boxes of ammunition can be purchased at $20/box.
